I have worked with Courtney Clarke for many years. We met working together at Ventiv Technology in Atlanta, Georgia. I was the UI architect for the company and Courtney was the UX designer. Both of us reported to the CTO of the company. I worked closely with Courtney collaborating on requirements to give to the UI developers.

Courtney was brought in to give the application we were working on a modern look. The web application was a recode of the company’s flagship insurance application. The original application had been used by customers for over a decade, and Ventiv wanted to sell their customers a faster and fresh looking upgrade.

Courtney was the perfect person for the job. He used current visual and usability trends and frameworks. He developed working prototypes with production quality code to give the developers a foundation. Courtney worked with me on new javascript libraries to enhance our UX while considering security, efficiency, and compatibility with the system. The most common reply on surveys for the new version praised its ease of use.

We developed a mobile application to integrate with our software for insurance adjusters to use while on site with a client. The UX for the application for mobile phones and tablets was created solely by Courtney. He was able to bring the same visual and interactive impression as the larger application. Courtney was able to work across devices and operating systems to create a unified experience.

Courtney is an exceptional visual designer and a solid developer. I highly recommend him for any UX or UI developer role. He is one of the hardest working professionals I have worked with.
